Richard graduated with a first class honours degree in Chemical Engineering and has amassed over 20 years experience in engineering, maintenance, management and consulting and is a recognised UK expert in the successful application of world class maintenance practices. To date, Richard has trained several hundred engineers, maintainers and production team members in the theory and application of RCM. As an expert in Maintenance Best Practice, Richard has had two papers published one of which was presented at a Pira International Limited conference in London 2004. Through EMS, Richard has facilitated many successful site based RCM implementation programmes in diverse industrial sectors allowing clients to achieve high reliability and improved operating performance. Major clients have included United Biscuits plc, HJ Heinz, Wavin Plastics, Unilever and Nestle.
